Singing and Music Lessons
The Higher Ground Performing Arts Studio provides a variety of music and voice classes to children and adults. Our studio offers both group or private, singing lessons and musical instrument tutoring. The group singing lessons are for one hour and the private music and vocal lessons are thirty minutes to a full hour.
Class Descriptions:
Vocal Studio:
This is a group vocal class, where the students warm up and work on harmony, ear training, music theory and performance. As they sing, they will be learning all types of repertoire from gospel to Broadway. This class meets once a week for one hour. The students are offered singing performance opportunities throughout the year, including our mid and year-end productions.
Private Music Lessons:
We offer private music lessons in piano, keyboard, voice, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and drums. Private music lessons ensure that the student has the undivided attention of the teacher, and can help the student progress at a level suited to them individually.

Our current students range in age from 6 years old to adults. We take care to teach what you want to learn, so that music is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
